Laura's travels in November

Laura's travels in November

It's been a busy month. Preparations are underway for the brand new 2008 ecoescape series, so I've been busy visiting green businesses the length and breadth of the UK.

The town deserves better, for very many reasons, and it has the eco-credentials to support this. Read on...

While Scotland sleeps: onboard the sleeper train

While Scotland sleeps: onboard the sleeper train

By Laura Burgess

I recently took the Lowland sleeper train to Edinburgh. My berth companion warned me not to give away the secret of the Caledonian Sleeper train and the bargain berth tickets. So I’m torn between keeping it to myself and, on the other hand, gushing about what a fantastic thing they are too. The environmentalist in me wins this time round as any stories that satisfy the holy trinity of travel: affordability, sustainability and enjoyment, should be told. Read on...
