In Other News Are you going to the Show? Looking for a lift? Want to travel with other people from your town? Post your travel plans in the Show section of the Ethical Weddings Forum. We already have one person trying to get from Nottingham to arrive in Birmingham early (around 9am) on the Sunday. Another has asked if anyone is travelling from Dundee/Glasgow or nearby. 2 for 1 tickets to the Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show 
We've been talking about it for ages ('yes you have!' we hear you say) but it's finally here - the Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show takes place this Sunday 8 March from 11am to 4pm at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston. Of course we want as many of our Ethical Weddings readers as possible to come and say hi so we're offering 2 for 1 tickets when you book online at www.ecochicweddingandhomeshow.com or by phone on 0121 454 1860 and quote 'ethicalweddings'. We also have a limited number of free tickets and pampering sessions up for grabs in a special Show competition - hop on over to our blog to find out more... If you have managed to avoid being bombarded by emails about the Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show over the last month and are wondering what's going on, the Show is a great a chance for you to meet ethical and green wedding and home suppliers who will tempt you into stylish sustainability with everything from organic cup cakes to a bicycle made for seven. There will be on-site pampering sessions, ethical fashion shows (one in the morning, one in the afternoon), talks from green wedding and home experts, and even an eco-conscious jazz singer. We will be joined at the Show by the lovely Jen Marsden, author of the Green Guide for Weddings, who will be sharing her top tips for a gorgeous, glam and green wedding. To make the session a bit more interactive, we want you to send in your green and ethical wedding dilemmas and queries - whether they're about flowers, food, favours or how to get your family and friends on side. Jen will answer as many of your questions as she can on Sunday and we will then post her responses on the Ethical Weddings and Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show blogs. When you set out to plan an ethical and green wedding, it can all seem a bit daunting at the start. But help is at hand. When we planned our wedding just a few years ago, our ethical enquiries were often met with a baffled 'huh?'. Now there is a veritable library of green wedding guides out there just waiting to point you in the right direction. We've had a quick flick through them in this little guide to green wedding guides - but we'd love to get your reviews too. And if there are any we've missed, let us know - there's always room on our bookshelf for another wedding tome!
