Hello Make Noise Members

Welcome to our June newsletter and in this edition we have something for all the senses.

Debbie Anderson from Global Gardening tells us why it is important to host her websites on wind powered hosting. We also have Pure Design 's brand new eco gallery and an environmentally friendly music project, The Declining Winter.

Intruiged? Well read on......

Global Gardening

"Why I chose Green Hosting?

My question would be: How can you set up a green gardening site without green hosting!?

These two things really are inseparable. It would have been hypocritical not to choose the WIND to POWER my ideas about how our gardens need help dealing with climate change.

Both my sites encourage anyone with a garden, terrace or even a window box to adapt to climate change in their garden. They offer plant suggestions, advice on water butts, ideas for rainwater harvesting, plant selection, lawn care and a host of interesting articles and information about how climate change is affecting gardens all over the world.

I am sure that when visitors see that www.globalgardening.org and www.myglobalgarden.com are powered by alternative energy it adds enormous credibility to what I am saying – it’s a brilliant endorsement for any green internet business."

Pure Design Company

The new Pure Design online eco-gallery is now open and offering shoppers a selection of designer home ware, sculpture and accessories.

The gallery represents award-winning designers and artists, and showcases the very best of UK sustainable contemporary craft.

Pure Design regularly features the work of new designers and so it is always worth a quick peek at the website to see new arrivals. In addition to the gallery shop, Pure Design also manage commissions for private and commercial customers, ranging from garden furniture or show-stopping chandeliers for private spaces, to upholstery and artwork for restaurants and hotels.
