Dream dress for one day only?

Dream dress for one day only?

We’ve been inundated this month with emails from brides wanting to know what to do with their wedding dress after the big day.

  • Should they sell it? If so how and where?
  • Should they give it away? Where can it do most good?
  • Should they have it re-fashioned into a wearable, everyday dress?
  • Or should they stash it away ready for a future descendant with a passion for vintage?

On Ethical Weddings we have bridalwear suppliers who can re-fashion a gown or sell on a pre-loved dress but we want to hear from you too.

What did you do or what do you plan to do with your well-loved wedding gown?

Send in your top wedding dress tips!

Leblas is offering all Ethical Weddings readers a 15% discount off their products (until October 2010). Just type “Ethical Weddings” when you get to the checkout to claim your discount.

Groomology - review by our green groom

Groomology - review by our green groom

We were chuffed to get some more green groom input this month in the shape of John’s (husband of Ethical Weddings blogger, Henriette) review of the groom’s guide to weddings: 'Groomology'.

Enjoy John’s warts ‘n’ all review and find out how you could also pick up a free copy of ‘Do you know your bride’ and ‘Do you know your groom’– great little quiz books donated by the folks behind ‘Groomology’ to make sure you’re marrying the right person!
